The incumbent is responsible for the sale of the ASGE industry training program to GI corporations interested in increasing their knowledge in digestive health. Assist with developing a virtual exhibit hall. Assist with other sales opportunities as requested. Develop and implement strategies for cultivating and soliciting prospects. Work with Senior Director of Sales and Business Development to establish annual revenue goals, and analyze progress towards those goals throughout the year.
Essential Job Functions
Experience prospecting, networking and new business development by identifying new creative revenue opportunities with clients.
Demonstrated ability to align the sales and profitability strategies with the goal to achieve the targeted sales and margin growth.
Maintain high client satisfaction in service of industry training contracts to ensure all benefits are fully implemented and executed.
Ability to negotiate contracts with clients, make proposal recommendations to Senior Director of Sales and Business Development and close a sale with client.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Minimum of 3 years of sales experience with demonstrated success; Knowledge of proposal writing; Experience working with pharmaceutical and device companies a plus; Ability to create and manage workflow systems and protocols; Ability to multi-task.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; Exceptional cultivation, solicitation and stewardship skills; Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Must have a thorough understanding of sales and able to effectively communicate their sales philosophy as it applies to their successes and failures
Ability to effectively work with a myriad of customers, both internal and external
Demonstrates strong communication and presentation skills
Must be willing and available to travel
Thorough understanding of the decision-making dynamic in the pharmaceutical, device and healthcare industry.
