The American Association of Endodontists (AAE) is dedicated to the excellence in the art and science of endodontics and to the highest standard of patient care. The Association inspires its members to pursue professional advancement and personal fulfillment through education, research, advocacy, leadership, communication, and service.
The AAE is currently seeking an Business Systems Analyst to join our team. This is a key role that oversees the development, implementation, upgrade and maintenance of new and existing applications and tools emphasizing the enterprise Association Management System.
Works with Director of Information Technology to ensure the operational and data integrity of the Association Management System (AMS) and its integrations.
Provides queries and reports from the AMS and other business applications.
Maintains documentation of software applications, and develops, documents, and enforces standards, policies, and procedures for applications.
Develops training materials and conducts training classes for staff to maximize productive use of software.
Provides project management of application related projects, including assistance to users on projects with consultants and other service providers.
Through testing and validation ensures applications, reports, and projects meet end user’s expectations and needs.
Maintains current knowledge of applications and software tools; focusing on systems and tools that enhance end-user experience and support process and product innovation.
Acts a liaison between staff and vendors to achieve problem resolution.
Manages the Association’s software life cycles
Works with IT management and MSP vendors to recommend necessary equipment or service changes or upgrades.
What we seek:
Minimum 3 years working in applications support or as a business systems analyst.
Experience with non-profit Association Management Systems (AMS)/Customer Management Systems (CRM) such as Association Anywhere, Personify (TIMSS), Aptify, or netFORUM.
Experience managing outside service providers and developers.
Project Management experience and experience working with a project management system such as JIRA.
Experience leading small project teams and working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Experience administering and support Office 365, Active Directory, MS Windows PCs and applications desired.
Solid technical understanding of SQL and developing SQL queries – Oracle, SQL Server.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
Able to gather business requirements for system support and translate them into appropriate systems/application specifications.
Well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to understand complex systems, multiple application interfaces, and technology processes.
