Who we are looking for:
The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) has an exciting opportunity for a highly-motivated and experienced Member Services Operations Manager to join our fast-paced Member Services Department in support of our over 40,000 medical professional members worldwide. The selected candidate will be responsible for the daily processes related to the member services database (Dynamics CRM) and oversight of financial and membership policies and procedures to ensure effective, efficient and reliable delivery of benefits and services to members.
What you will do:
Align, manage and oversee financial and operational best business practices and procedures through collaborative work with key-stakeholders
Provide holistic analysis and solutions to ensure quality processes and improvements to the Member Services CRM workflows
Collaborate with Member Services leadership to advance the CRM priorities and interest of key stakeholders
Support and streamline the Customer Service Center function by documenting and training operational practices and proficiencies related to ASCO’s multiple customer tools
Work effectively and autonomously with a diverse group of people to facilitate cross-departmental work; and represent Member Services as a financial, member services operations, and CRM subject-matter-expert
You will supervise, develop, and coach direct report(s) to ensure optimal capacity, effective training, and engagement
What you will need in order to be successful:
7 plus years of experience working with associations or non-profit organizations with a focus on member services and financial operations
College degree in Business or a related field
Hands-on experience working with CRM Dynamics with a focus on the business side is a plus, or related database experience required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; familiarity working with online tools; and an openness to embracing new technology
Superior communication skills including oral, listening and written, including the ability to effectively to communicate with internal and external contacts
5 plus years of successful supervisory experience, including: managing, mentoring, and developing staff
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and to complete a high volume of work and meet deadlines with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Superb analytical skills and ability to think things through, anticipate solutions and next steps, and see the bigger picture, while offering fresh ideas
