Serving as an integral member of our client management team, this role will be responsible for oversight and effective delivery of client programs and operations and will contribute to the organization’s overall engagement and growth strategies. In addition, this person will be responsible for collaborating with the client’s external leadership team, project management and budget oversight. This position is an outstanding opportunity for a self-starter with operational experience and a proven track record of creative problem-solving, team management and interest in joining a high-growth, mission-driven organization.
Contribute to the development and execution of organization's strategic goals and objectives
Lead development of new initiatives aimed at driving community engagement and growth
Provide oversight and delivery of client membership programs and offerings, including but not limited to virtual programs, in-person events, content offerings and more
Serve as project manager for all key community programs
Engage with external client leadership and support terms
Establish and monitor team performance goals, accountabilities and objectives
Maintain open and clear lines of communications with team and external stakeholders
Monitor and/or create and implement (as necessary) an appropriate system of policies, internal controls, accounting standards, and procedures.
Ensure team support aligns with services standards
Oversee special projects and programs to drive community engagement, including membership, chapters and committees
Oversee the annual budget process and quarterly forecasting processes
Provide analytical support to organization's internal management team to keep full team on track and aware of organizational progress
Bachelor’s degree required; and association management experience preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience, ideally with strong project and/or team management experience
Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills
