Job Description

 

The American Urological Association is the premier association for the advancement of urologic patient care. We are actively recruiting for an Executive Office Associate, this is an entry level position.

Provides advanced administrative support to AUA’s Officers, Executive Director, Board of Directors, etc. Responsible for coordinating domestic and international travel itineraries for individual and group meetings on behalf of AUA’s Officers.  Coordinates internal communication relating to AUA Officers and assists with activities of the staff Executive Team.  Conducts research projects and assists with other department activities as needed.  Duties are often of a confidential nature requiring in-depth knowledge of the organization’s policies, procedures and strategic plans.  Interacts with all AUA departments specifically with the Committee and Society Affairs staff.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have an Associate’s Degree, Bachelors preferred, with 4 – 5 years proven executive level administrative support experience.  Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrates confidence/maturity and ability to work with people at all levels within the organization.  High level of confidentiality along with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks with minimum supervision. Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required. Attention to detail, excellent proofreading and editing skills required.
