Executive DirectorThe Virginia Land Title Association (VLTA) is seeking an experienced full-time Executive Director to assist the Board in managing and expanding the association. VLTA provides licensing and continuing education, advocacy, and networking opportunities for the Virginia land title industry. The ED will take a leading role in implementing the association’s strategic plan, executing the annual Convention, developing and executing a comprehensive membership growth strategy, managing communications, and directing the association’s portfolio of other activities, including a comprehensive, state-regulated continuing education program. This position requires an average of 40-50 hours/week, 1099 contractor, telecommute from your home office. No physical office space or computer equipment from the incumbent will be provided. Additional work hours will be required in the lead up and execution of the annual Convention which takes place in October. Must be able to travel to monthly Board meetings in central Virginia; four Regional events and periodic events such as Lobby Day; as well as to the national convention once a year, which rotates to various locations around the country (travel expenses covered by VLTA). Some training will be offered. Incumbent will be responsible for transfer of physical association properties to new home office. Salary InformationSalary commensurate with experience.
