Our stakeholders are moving quickly to balance tectonic changes in healthcare. To advance the process, our team needs the right person to direct the strategy and effective distribution of web content for best user experience on multiple public websites.
The right candidate will have proven expertise in content management systems, digital content marketing, and leading a forward-looking team in a large, multifaceted, progressive organization.

Oversee content strategy, planning and implementation of projects for the creation, delivery and quality assurance of user-centric content in support of the organization’s strategic goals.
Guide content development to achieve desired performance.
Manage and coach a staff of 5 working in Sitecore CMS to achieve higher performance and excellent customer service.
Collaborate and Persuade
Support goals of leadership and other departments. Persuasively present content strategy recommendations. Collaborate on digital marketing, social media, public affairs, publications and web timelines to align messaging with other digital channels.
Collaborate with PMO to oversee project status with IT developers and product owners.
Manage internal communications manager and app vendor to best performance of employee Intranet for higher engagement.
Compliance and QA
Lead and enhance web content practices for regulatory and quality assurance. Collaborate with compliance, legal and security teams.
You will be part of a department that is recognized as the creative communications hub of the organization and includes experienced marketing professionals, graphic designers, production teams and public affairs specialists. This position is located in the Reston, VA headquarters and reports to the vice president of marketing, communications and public affairs. Flexible hours and telework are options.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, master’s a plus
At least 8 years’ relevant work experience
Advanced knowledge in the field of web content strategy with proven expertise in managing content from multiple internal sources
Experience in managing/leading a team of diverse contributors, including subject-matter experts, content managers, communicators, user experience designers and technical developers
Strategic planning skills
Experience with setting and managing business needs for CMS and other web publishing tools
Strong understanding of SEO and online metrics
Excellent presentation, web editing and writing skills
Strong understanding of brand and graphic design sensibility
Analytical abilities to integrate key strategic goals and user insights, create measurable goals and identify target audiences for specific content
Excellent time and project management skills
Ability to analyze and report on KPIs
Prior experience in a large, multifaceted organization with numerous stakeholders; association and nonprofit desirable
Experience with the Sitecore CMS or similar
Experience with web-based productivity tools Zoom, Go to Meeting, Jira, Confluence
Understanding of CRM and AMS (Salesforce, Nimble) and marketing automation (Pardot, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
Informed of industry trends and strategies to ensure ACR stays at the forefront of content innovation
Knowledge of HTML, Java script
