The American College of Radiology (ACR) is a professional medical association that is seeking a Marketing & Education Coordinator to join its team to work with one of its managed societies, The Society for Pediatric Radiology (SPR). The SPR is a professional membership association with just under 2,000 members.
The Coordinator will provide administrative and logistical support for all areas of the Society including but not limited to: meetings, education and operations. This position will also be responsible for serving as the lead team member responsible for the Society’s online presence to including, but not limited to: the Society Community and LMS, website, e-marketing and social media.
The Marketing & Education Coordinator will:
Coordinate meeting and education project activities as assigned
Maintains, monitors and updates the Society’s Learning Management System
Coordinates syllabus submission process and creates online syllabi
Organizes and builds the conference meeting app
Creates the online continuing education credit claiming process
Collects and tracks faculty and author materials as requested
Updates databases and status reports; follows up as appropriate
Organize and implement the Community, website, marketing and social media presence
Maintains, monitors and updates the Society’s online Community platform
Serves as one of the staff liaisons to the Website Committee
Maintains the website content and design as directed
Develops e-marketing content for all activities of the Society as requested
Organizes and maintains the Society’s marketing calendar
Monitors and develops strategies for the Society’s social media presence to include, but not limited to: Facebook and Twitter
Assist with day-to-day operations of the Society
Responds to telephone and e-mail inquiries from society members
Provides general administrative support to the team
Processes monthly donation reports and letters
Perform other duties as assigned
Willingly accepts duties as assigned and completes them in a satisfactory manner with agreed upon timeframes
Travels to and provides onsite assistance at society meetings, as required
Successful candidates will have:
Bachelor’s degree or commensurate related experience
Two plus years of work experience in an administrative setting
Fluency in Microsoft Office professional applications
Good knowledge and ease in working with various social media platforms, particularly Facebook and Twitter
DNN website, Informz marketing automation, Higher Logic Community and Elevate LMS experience a plus
Excellent member service mentality and delivery
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects with conflicting deadlines
Previous experience in a medical association environment is a plus
Some travel required
