NAHB is seeking a dynamic B2B professional to manage member discount programs with several corporate partners which provide member discounts and revenue share to the association.
The Business Development Manager will own the day-to-day management and relationship of key programs, ensuring their success and revenue targets for the association. They will coordinate marketing efforts as well as collaborate with local home builder association executives on revenue sharing and program awareness. In addition to developing and renegotiating existing programs, the manager will seek out and make recommendations on new program concepts, as well as assist the creation of new revenue generating products for the association.
This position will further drive revenue through sponsorship and advertising sales, leveraging relationships to understand business goals and pitching sponsorship, event, or advertising solutions.
Candidates must have superior written and oral communication skills, as well as thrive on details and multi-tasking. They will be a team-player, strong negotiator, and have a demonstrated ability to provide creative solutions. Prior national B2B sales experience is required and a solid understanding of proposals, contracts, financial analysis, CRM, and marketing. Association, sponsorship or advertising sales, and/or home building industry experience is a plus.
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant work experience is required. The position is based in Washington, DC.
