WesPay is a payments association dedicated to building and sharing knowledge to guide our 1,200 members through their payments journey, from concept to operation. We work with financial institutions and companies that provide payment services. Headquartered in San Francisco, CA, our primary service area is the western United States, Alaska, and Hawaii.
We have an open position for a Marketing Manager. We are searching for a creative, motivated, and highly collaborative individual to join our Marketing & Member Services team.
The Marketing Manager role will be responsible for assisting the company’s Senior Vice President, Marketing & Member Services with marketing support, including but not limited to creation of marketing collateral in a variety of mediums, corporate advertising, social media, internal and external communication in various formats, and general marketing duties as assigned by the SVP from time to time. The employee in this role must be a creative, analytical thinker with the ability to appropriately shift priorities throughout the workday and on short notice, communicate effectively and efficiently with others, and produce a high volume of quality work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment on tight deadlines. This employee will have a significant degree of autonomy and needs to be able to prioritize and communicate with a variety of departments in the company to serve marketing related needs. This is a salaried, exempt, full-time, work from home position, reporting to the Senior Vice President, Marketing & Member Services.
Manages production and deployment of both email and direct mail communications
Designs and implements user interface and updates content across various member-facing websites
Responsible for the production of collateral, event displays, branding products/giveaways, and other printed materials including the production of digital production files
Manages marketing contractors and vendors for various production projects
Coordinates with Marketing and Member Services teams as well as other staff for content updates during the proofing process of marketing pieces
Produces and publishes online surveys for gathering feedback on WesPay products and services as well as comments on payments industry topics
Develops branding - logos and theme imagery - for various programs and events
Manages digital warehousing and version control of collateral images, fonts, production pieces, etc. within company SharePoint site
Maintains brand standards and visual consistency in all materials
Provides support for other creative and production needs
Manages strategy and maintenance of social media sites: LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and our internal site, Connect
Required Education, Skills and Experience
A minimum of three to five years of marketing experience, preferably in the not-for-profit or association sector
Must possess strong verbal and written communications skills combined with a thorough knowledge of research methods, customer segmentation, and communication techniques using various media.
Demonstrated proficiency in creative design, with a discerning eye for brand appropriateness in messaging and design.
Proficiency in a wide range of creative development tools: Adobe Creative Cloud Suite®, especially Acrobat®, InDesign®, Illustrator®, and PhotoShop®; Microsoft® Office Suite, especially PowerPoint®, FTP software, HTML, and CSS.
Experience developing direct mail, product collateral, and print production .
Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.
The ability to quickly and easily transition from using one strategy to another or going from “plan A” to “plan B” is necessary for the success of this position.
Flexibility is key. The ability to offer innovative, new ideas as creative solutions and to solve problems that may arise will work as a huge advantage.
Accuracy and Dependability – The success of this organization relies, in part, on being able to accurately and effectively communicate the programs, products, and services available to the membership. As the individual responsible for direct marketing to the membership through email and print communications, dependability is paramount. A “no matter what it takes” attitude to deploy communications according to schedule and with consistent accuracy and quality is required for this role.
