Assist the Managing Editor and Deputy Managing Editor with editorial and peer-review management functions for Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics, CPT: Pharmacometrics & Systems Pharmacology, and Clinical and Translational Science
Key responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:
Assist in the quality control of submitted papers to ensure adherence to policies and guidelines for submission;
Assist in managing the peer-review process for submissions;
Communicate decisions on submitted papers to authors and respond to status inquiries in a timely manner;
Communicate with reviewers and Associate Editors throughout the review process
Communicate with the publisher regarding manuscripts in production;
Serve as the primary staff responsible for the maintenance and update of the journals’ eJournalPress sites;
Assisting the Managing Editor and Deputy Managing Editor with journal-related duties as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree is required
2+ years scientific/medical publication experience
Experience with eJournalPress or other manuscript tracking systems
Advanced skills in all Microsoft Office products
Strong written and oral communication skills, along with the willingness to pitch in and support others, as needed, are essential
Strong interpersonal/relationship-building skills
Robust listening skills and diplomacy
Articulate and confident
Track record of reliability/dependability, outstanding customer service and experience prioritizing multiple projects
