Salary Range: $50,000-60,000

NRPA is currently seeking a Web Specialist in the Information Technology department. The Web Specialist oversees the ongoing maintenance of the association’s websites. This position manages processes to post and update the site’s content and functionality.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Updates and maintains web content/assets using Content Management System (CMS), monitors content on live site and troubleshoots or escalates issues
Trains the staff on the CMS and website content policies
Reviews, tracks and reports on website traffic using Google Analytics, Heatmaps, customer feedback and other tools

Bachelor’s degree in web design, information technology or related field preferred
2-5 years performing website administration
Experience with one or more CMS platforms (e.g., EPiServer)
Competence using HTML
Knowledge of Search engine optimization and information architecture best practices
Knowledge of digital analytics, especially Google Analytics
Familiarity with Microsoft Office365, SharePoint, SharePoint Designer, Adobe Photoshop. Knowledge of online advertising software, especially BanMan
Strong customer service focus
Strong communication skills

Willing to travel up to 15 days per year outside of the Washington Metropolitan Area or your remote work location. Remote workers must visit NRPA Headquarters periodically including attendance at the NRPA annual conference.
