Director of Regulatory Affairs
American Health Information Management Association
The American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) is the leading voice and authority in health information, wherever it is found. Our people work at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and business. While our patients don’t often see us, we see our patients in a way no other healthcare professional does. That is because AHIMA-certified professionals ensure that sensitive health stories remain accurate, accessible, protected, and complete—at all times.
We are currently seeking a Director of Regulatory Affairs to join our team.
The Director of Regulatory Affairs is primarily responsible for monitoring, analyzing, developing responses and policy recommendations on federal regulations emanating from federal agencies on matters relevant to health information and health information professionals that align with AHIMA’s mission and vision. This position reports directly to the VP of Policy and Government Affairs and does not have any supervisory responsibilities but will have substantive authority over several key regulatory issues and will directly engage with federal agency policymakers.
