Progressive Nonprofit Seeks Experienced CEO

Bring your executive leadership skills and technical knowledge to one of the most progressive state trade associations in the state, the Michigan Association of Broadcasters.

This opening is a high-profile position. It is a career opportunity that requires a dynamic hard working leader. You will work with three terrific boards of directors, several committees, members and staff to accomplish the goals of the organization. With our small staff of eight the CEO carries a list of tasks and must function not only as leader but also as one of the team. Qualified individuals are invited to apply.  To qualify you will need; 

• At lease of 3 – 5 years of proven success in a progressively more responsible leadership positions within a 501C6 or C3 non-profit association.
• Experience with all aspects of trade association management including; Non-profit accounting, budgeting, conferences, meetings planning, government relations, marketing, writing and digital publishing, social media, HR, staff management, board & committee coordination.  Additional experience in broadcast media or a related field.
• A bachelor's degree or the equivalent in experience equal to that which one gains with a degree in Organizational Management, Marketing, Law, Telecommunications, Communications, Political Science, or media related courses of study.
