We are looking for a dynamic, organized, self-starter to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment as the Executive Director of the Council of Residency Directors (CORD) in Emergency Medicine organization. CORD is managed by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and has 271 organizational memberships.
This position serves as the chief staff officer, responsible to the board of directors, for the effective management of the association according to its missions, bylaws, goals, objectives, budgets, strategic plans, and policies of the organization. You will plan, direct, evaluate, and provide oversight of CORD’s business operations, events, products, and services including but not limited to meetings, events, member benefit partnerships, web sites, social media platforms, mobile applications, advertising sales, and printed and web-based newsletters.

Bachelor's degree in management, education, communications, health care or related field or equivalent related experience
Minimum of five years experience in a nonprofit professional or trade organization that includes management of multiple, simultaneous projects; budgeting; contract negotiation and management; oversight of publications development and production; oversight of Web site development and maintenance; working with volunteer leaders.
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing organization-wide educational, technological, and digital strategies aligned with organizational mission and within expected timeline and budget.
Strong technology acumen, especially with association management systems and content management systems.
Ability to anticipate, identify, analyze, and capitalize on growth opportunities
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and innovative environment, in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.
Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills
Telecommuting is allowed.
