The Partner Relations Coordinator supports the Partner Relations team in creating and communicating ideas between NACD and its partners to enhance the vitality and quality of contracted deliverables and ensure partner satisfaction and revenue growth. Works closely with Senior Director, Partner Relations & Publisher, Associate Director, Partner Relations, and Senior Associate, Partner Relations to ensure that all contracted partner deliverables are developed and executed across the NACD team on time and above clients’ quality expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Works with team to create enduring, revenue producing relationships with NACD’s Partners’ marketing & executive teams
Helps curate enduring relationships with NACD’s cross-functional teams
Assists in creating reports for Partners that summarize performance of contracted deliverables
Actively manages an inventory of partnership opportunities and tracks alignment with NACD’s cross-functional teams
Assist in developing, in conjunction with partner relations team, contracts that contain consistent deliverables across NACD and NACD Directorship platforms
Efficiently compiles all contractual obligations in a manner that can be shared with NACD’s cross-functional team members for development and execution
Coordinate a system to compile and monitor progress of NACD requirements from partners for event communications and programming materials – including, but not limited to, print ads, company descriptions, attendees and speaker biographies
Manages/collects marketing kits and registration forms for select in-person and virtual forum events
Schedules & attends Partner meetings with senior NACD staff as directed
Assists in developing partner sponsorship presentations, outlines, and partner briefing materials for the Partner Relations Team and senior NACD staff
Attends recurring meetings with client marketing & executive teams
Open to traveling to occasional offsite meetings as needed; provides on-site and virtual event management when needed
Performs other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two-three years of experience in account management, sponsorship sales and/or traditional advertising sales in a fast-paced results-oriented environment is required. Must have excellent client relations skills; ability to listen to, interpret and create unique programs that meet and exceed customers’ needs; exemplary interpersonal skills; ability to interact in a professional manner with senior level executives; and excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be intellectually curious and willing to learn about leading corporate governance issues and practices. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must be extremely organized and focused on driving sales success and client projects through to fruition in a fast-paced work environment.
