Degnon Associates, Inc is a rapidly growing, accredited association management company serving not-for profit health, scientific and medical related organizations. We are currently seeking a full-time administrative/executive assistant who will work with senior staff, committee chairs and association members to manage programs, projects, meetings, and membership to fulfill the associations’ missions including but not limited to orienting members, providing administrative and program, fulfilling member inquiries and meeting registrations, etc. The assistant is the face of the clients.
The ideal candidate takes initiative and has strong time management, organizational and technology skills. Individuals who can successfully multi-task and who are tech savvy will be successful in this position. If you love developing relationships and then this position is for you. There may be opportunities for annual travel. This position primarily remote and may include opportunities for in office work. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide outstanding customer service and support
- Implement membership recruitment and retention strategies
- Work with committees and members via conference calls, video calls and email
- Provide meeting support including but not limited to registration, submission and review systems, notifications, and faculty/speaker management
- Provide support for granting annual awards and other application-based programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Utilize and maintain suite of association management technology platforms to accomplish membership and organizational goals
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree required. Association, non-profit or AMC experience preferred.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Interest in learning and gaining proficiency in new skills. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and association management software knowledge required. Detail oriented, excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills essential and ability to multitask. The ideal candidate will have association experience, have been in the workforce 2-5 years, and has a high energy level and expectations for advancement.
