One of the nation's largest and most dynamic nonprofit organizations is currently searching for a sales professional responsible for the sales for ASCE's popular events, magazines, digital sales including web ads, enewsletters, webinars, podcasts, and more.

Maintaining working knowledge of all company products/assets, availability, and pricing with current and potential customers
Researching and evaluating the industry, market conditions and competitive marketing information
Crafting customized client campaigns
Preparing and delivering presentations
Traveling to and participating in conferences, trade shows, industry meetings and events
Cultivating and maintaining productive working relationships with customers
Preparing sales forecasts and communicating customer requirements
Assisting in developing marketing and promotional materials
Finalizing needed documentation contracts, insertions orders, etc.
Entering information and maintaining database integrity for prospect and customer contacts
Gathering needed materials in a timely fashion
Ensuring correct advertising placement and material accuracy
Assisting with billing and collection efforts
Maintaining accurate and daily activities within CRM
Generating and expanding new revenue through new and existing account base
The ideal candidate will have:
4-year college/university degree or equivalent related knowledge
4-6 years sales experience - advertising, sponsorships, and events preferred
Knowledge and experience in digital media
Working knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM
Advanced competency with computer functions in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Strong customer service focus with a drive to close sales
Willingness and desire for occasional travel
