Manager, Meeting Registration and Industry Partner Engagement

We are looking for someone to join our team as the Manager, Meeting Registration & Industry Partner Engagement. There is an immediate need for a passionate and engaging manager to be responsible for the execution of all major conference logistics related to exhibits and registration management, while managing relationships with vendors, members, and staff, for ASAE Conferences and Meetings.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Exhibitors / Show Management Team
Produce, manage, and edit all registration and expo correspondence.
Assist with booth floorplan design, show floor assignments, and develop excellent exhibitor relationships.
Develop content for exhibit and registration conference information web pages
Manage the exhibitor and industry partner sales and sponsorship process for assigned conferences
Compile and distribute weekly update reports, producing program attendance/exhibitor numbers, booth sales, and financial comparison data
Collaborate with appropriate teams to ensure industry partner benefits are applied to exhibitor & registration records
Manage program closeout procedures in addition to compiling feedback for future year brainstorming and maintaining all appropriate historical and database reporting files for assigned programs
Collaborate with marketing to develop compelling content for preliminary and onsite conference participant guides, exhibitor prospectus and additional marketing promotional materials
Produce exhibit program reporting data.
Cultivate a climate of business trust and partnership to ensure continued and long-term viability of the major meetings.
Onsite team effort in supporting exhibitors.
Manage registration form buildout and timeline development.
Produce and edit all registration correspondence; policies, confirmations, receipts/invoices, email eblasts communications, newsletters, Know Before You Go previews, and name badge artwork/info, print name badges (for in person signature programs)
Provide excellent member and staff care.
Work with coordinator to produce registration badges, confirmations, and program reporting data.
Occasional onsite team effort in supporting registration/assist with shipment preparation with Meetings Team lead.
Travel to major meetings where necessary, to support Show Management with onsite exhibitor care and assisting front line registration team; help with training and support temp staff in on-site applicable registration and exhibit program procedures. Work to positively resolve exhibitor and member questions.
Provide office operations support; aid in planning new or unanticipated events as the need arises. Generate correspondence, and a variety of other documents as needed.
All applicants should demonstrate an excellent understanding of, and commitment to, tradeshow sales and registration operations management for ASAE. Possession of advanced project management, marketing, and communication skills will set applicants apart.
Onsite management sometimes requires early morning, late evening, and weekend work. Limited travel is required.
Bachelors Degree, preferably in events, hospitality (or similar) with 3-5 years related job experience of specialized exhibits, registration and/or meetings/event work experience preferred. Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
Industry designation preferred CEM
Advanced knowledge of association tradeshow operations
Master knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Highly charismatic and engaging with ability to perform under pressure
Must demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills
Experience with exhibitor and registration software programs.
Experience with Aptify and eShow is preferred
Must be advanced with the operation of commonly used office machines.
