What you’ll do
Reporting to and working closely with NACE’s Assistant Director of Learning & Professional Development, you will make a meaningful contribution to the success of both NACE and its members through the following areas of responsibility:
Support the professional development department in delivery of high-quality content and programming within the e-learning portfolio for university and employer members.
Serve as Subject Matter Expert for the learning management system, lead operational and logistical e-learning curriculum development processes, and directly participate as host for launching webinars and e-learning programs.
Lead virtual programming efforts for webinar calendar and new content for university and employer members using a variety of modalities and content delivery strategies.
Employ guidelines and protocols by serving as the main point of contacts for credentialing bodies and overseeing assigning of CEU’s.
Lead instructional design process with NACE member SMEs to develop high-quality, action-oriented synchronous and asynchronous programming: webinars, micro-learning, on-demand courses, and virtual workshops.
Collaborate with Director of Education & Events and Assistant Director of Learning & Professional Development to expand and develop program offerings and evaluate and critique instructional strategies, delivery, and response.
Evaluate individual and aggregate program performance, escalating relevant feedback trends to drive program improvement and member satisfaction.
Serve as the staff liaison for logistical execution of public professional development programming and subject matter experts who participate in the NACE virtual conference.
What you need to thrive in this role
Bachelor’s degree in Education, with a focus in curriculum & instruction, higher education, and technology. Master’s degree in Education preferred
Minimum of three years’ experience in instructional design with a focus in adult learning, as well as experience providing high-touch, high-quality customer service and support for professional development programming
Experience as a volunteer or employee in a professional association, non-profit industry preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, Moviemaker, database management, association management software, and learning management system (LMS), with the adaptability to learn and manage technology platforms
Strong interpersonal skills are a must, with the ability to take initiative and collaborate as a team player
Ability to be flexible and adaptable to change while confidently handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines
Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
