The Project Manager is accountable for carrying out assigned ASHP Foundation (Foundation) projects and programs. Has responsibility for selecting the most effective methods and protocol to use in the delivery of Foundation projects and programs. Specific areas of responsibility include development and management of program/project activities in a timely and fiscally responsible manner, effectively engaging with internal and external stakeholders to meet program timelines, and maintaining proactive and transparent communication to support independent and team-based workflows.

This position is based in our Bethesda, MD office. Our office has a hybrid working environment, with a combination of onsite and remote work. What You'll Be Doing at ASHP:
Determines work priorities, policies and operating procedures.
Interacts with others to advise on and facilitate the execution of Foundation’s programmatic and operational initiatives.
Manages assigned Foundation projects, including educational and research grant activities and special projects.
Develops and manages relationships with program faculty/reviewers, contractors and constituents.
Coordinates with staff, faculty and contractors to develop enduring activity materials to meet Continuing Education (CE) and grant/sponsorship requirements, such as on-demand web-based activities and coordinates distribution of materials.
Creates all supporting materials for program implementation and promotion, including online applications, initial website updates, presentation handouts, resource handouts, and online surveys and reviews email promotions, final web page updates, presentation materials and additional collateral materials.
Initiates, tracks and has responsibility for program tuition and expenditures in adherence with the budget and goals.
Monitors grants for legal, financial, and program compliance including but not limited to ensuring that grant requirements are correctly documented on an ongoing basis.
Generates reports and data analysis for program or finance team and Board.
Leads webinar faculty training and administration and provides onsite meeting management services for live activities and other projects as assigned/requested.
Submits all paperwork and maintains project files to ensure all required documentation is readily accessible in compliance with ASHP procedures and requirements of Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) and other applicable accrediting bodies.
Initiates process and quality improvement efforts.
What You Bring To ASHP:
Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
Certification in project management, a plus.
Minimum three-five years of project/program management experience.
Minimum three years of experience planning programs that comply with relevant standards and guidelines.
Exceptional customer-oriented attitude.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient project management skills.
Excellent organizational ability and attention to detail.
Sound judgement for troubleshooting and resolving matters.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Advanced knowledge and expertise of technology applications: learning management platforms, surveying tools, webinar and web-conferencing platforms.
