As the Program Director, you will report directly to the President. You will be responsible for the delivery and overall success of each program and manage the coordinating and administering of existing grant programs, as well as develop programs to support the organization's strategic direction and long-term goals. You will serve as the immediate supervisor to the staff. You must be able to lead and develop their skills, as well as observe and report their progress with program updates according to timelines.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Performance Management of Programs
- Lead in planning, development and implementation of strategy for programs.
- Establish program standards, policies, and evaluations plans in conjunction with Executive Director.
- Plan and coordinate conferences, events, and promotional and other materials.
- Staff program advisory committees and maintain minutes.
Resource Management
- Monitor collection of information and interpret data from a variety of social media and website platforms, and prepare monthly and quarterly reports.
- Oversee Website development, List Serve, Google Docs, Jotform, Social Media use and other tools.
Grants and Contract Management
- Participate with grant writing and budget development, including meetings with potential funding agencies.
- Write concept/background papers and reports.
Team Leadership
- Motivate stakeholders, program staff and interns to a high level of performance and accountability.
- Develop and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with partners, members, and support teams.
- Lead the planning and prioritization of projects.
- Work closely with Executive Assistant to keep NHMA calendar and President’s calendar up to date and current with programs as needed.
- Use best practices to create schedule templates for staff and interns and apply timelines, sign timesheets, and resources as needed.
- Serve as a liaison or committee member with key external committees related to the programs.
Reporting:
- Report updates on programs and activities to the President on a weekly basis.
- Report updates on grant deliverables to external partners on a monthly or quarterly basis.
