At AMGA we’re paving the way for medical groups and integrated systems of care to deliver the next level of high-performance health. We have an opening for a Program Manager, Membership, reporting to the Director of Council Relations.
The primary responsibility of the Program Manager, Membership is to support the Regional Meeting and Council programs. Duties and responsibilities include:
Councils:
Line-up Council speakers and serve as the primary point of contact for those speakers
Work with assigned Council leadership teams to craft agendas for in-person and virtual meetings
Develop, host, and moderate virtual Council sessions
Invite medical group executives to join the appropriate Council(s) and add them to the appropriate Council in the database
Invite individual Council members to various offerings and encourage engagement
Post questions anonymously over the discussion list for members
Monitor the discussion list for potential misuse and seek clarifications from supervisors on any anti-trust questionable remarks
Regional Meetings:
Compile speaker materials (slides, handouts, bios, etc.) and other event support (indexing presentations, responding to questions, etc.)
Identify and invite medical group members to participate on planning committees and attend meetings
Coordinate with planning committees to identify presentation topics and speakers
General Membership:
Respond to general membership questions
Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will be a smart self-starter with superior organizational and administrative skills; strong communication abilities, both verbal and written; and knowledge or interest in health care.
Required Experience:
3+ years of experience with:
2+ years of customer service
2+ years of project management
Required Skills:
Customer-service orientation and highly professional demeanor
Superior attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and comfortable communicating to high-level executives
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Ability to remain flexible and prioritize while juggling multiple projects
Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team

High personal and professional integrity
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Knowledge of Nimble/Salesforce a plus
Knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus
Knowledge of HigherLogic a plus
