Education Manager - Association Solutions

We work with amazing and creative associations and partners to make an impact in our world. This person is supporting a new MCI USA client partner, the Audio Engineering Society (AES). If you have a passion around starting new initiatives and making change, this Education Manager is the right role for you.
In this new position, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing a robust education program by researching, coordinating and assisting in the marketing of educational programming (seminars, webinars etc.) as well as identifying issues, topics and presenters relevant to AES’ members. In addition, the Education Manager will create and curate content across different platforms and for various learning levels and look to repurpose existing materials targeted to specific audiences within the membership.
Develops and manages agendas and educational programs for AES events
Assists in the selecting, securing, and supporting facilitators, speakers, and panelists for AES events.
Collaborate on the program layout and general agenda for AES events.
Plans and supports meetings of the Education Committee.
Develops/edits scripts, slides, cue to cue, and other conference materials.
Provides onsite support for AES conferences as assigned.
Manages logistics of virtual programs (webinars, podcasts, etc.)
Serves as site manager and administrator for learning management system.
Manage master calendar of upcoming education programs.
Lead and/or assist with new and ongoing education collaborations with outside organizations.
Organize and compile reports of all educational activities for Board of Directors meetings.
Provide copy, review, and provide edits for the education-related marketing emails
1-3 years of association experience
Ability to work well in a team environment is essential.
Ability to travel 2-3 times per year domestically and/or internationally.
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests/projects.
Ability to establish and nurture relationships with other staff, volunteers, stakeholders, etc.
Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), general computing skills, and the Internet.
Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) and a Virtual Conference platform is preferred but not required.
Must be able to:
remain standing or sitting in a stationary position for many hours per day onsite
occasionally lift, move or carry boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
frequently move about inside a facility space.
