POSITION SUMMARY
The Membership & Registration Manager is responsible for leading all membership and registration functions across multiple client associations. This includes membership recruitment, retention, database management (Novi AMS), registration support for meetings and conferences, committee coordination, and staff supervision. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator, skilled relationship-builder, and process-oriented leader with a passion for member engagement.
This position reports to the Executive Director and plays a key role in supporting client growth and member satisfaction. You will work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders and manage one direct report.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead membership growth, retention, and engagement strategies
Manage member database (Novi AMS); ensure data accuracy and reporting
Oversee dues invoicing and renewal processes
Coordinate registration for client conferences, webinars, and events
Serve as staff liaison to assigned committees, support meeting coordination and follow-up
Supervise and train membership support staff
Collaborate on marketing and communication initiatives to support member outreach
Maintain the accuracy and functionality of the Find-a-Doctor public directory
Assist with surveys, reporting, and other client deliverables

QUALIFICATIONS
3–4 years of experience in membership management; medical association experience preferred
Proficiency in CRM systems; Novi AMS experience strongly preferred
Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
Willingness to travel (nationally and internationally) 2–4 times per year
